The Session – Magic Convention Cheltenham

The last of the magic dragons, Piff, will be setting The Session on fire. He took the world by storm on Penn & Teller’s Fool Us and will be landing in Cheltenham for a brand new performance.

Known for his amazing Anti-Faro, Christian Engblom (Finland) is a member of the card magic elite. He’ll be previewing his invisible deck switching device, which is so smart that you won’t believe your eyes. It just looks as though one deck morphs into another. Christian is a member of the Fat Brothers and is an incredible close-up magician who will give an all-new talk at The Session.

Direct from Las Vegas, making his first ever European magic convention appearance is Justin Flom. He’s just as comfortable on stage as he is in a close-up show and we’re very happy to have him at The Session. Not only will Justin be performing a piece from his incredible close-up act, but we’ll be unveiling the project that we’ve bene working with him on for over a year.

Mark has performed at The Session more than any other performer. There’s a reason for that: we think that he’s an very clever creator, a smart thinker and a fun performer. He’ll be giving a brand new talk during one of our sessions. We know he’ll go down a storm … again!

When we worked with Liam Montier on his “Timeless” effect, we had no idea that it would make such a big impact on the magic world. Liam is a fantastic creator and we’re proud to have worked with him. His debut talk at The Session will focus around one of the strongest card tricks that he’s ever created. It’s a clever concept wrapped in an intriguing presentation.

We’ve worked with Eric Richardson on two great ebooks on memorised deck magic and on “Momentum;” one of the best impromptu haunted pack routines we’ve ever seen. The hidden miracles that he’s unfolded within the Aronson Stack is incredibly inspiring. He has even built several performable story decks into the stack.

He’s a energetic performer from the USA and we’re pleased to host his first ever European convention performance. Eric will be talking in our Saturday Session.

Vinny DePonto (USA) is not a name that many have heard of in the UK, his performance will certainly change that. His smart approach to magic could be described as “a modern twist on a vaudevillian style”. He’s a professional close-up performer from New York and we predict big things for him.

Renowned coin magician Eric Jones (USA) will be presenting a new talk for The Session. His DVDs Audio, Metal and An Extension of Me are top selling products and Eric has received a reputation as one of the finest young coin workers in the world.
